Dori Edwards, Global Animal
Virunga National Park rangers have lost critical financial funding since the war in the Democratic Republic of Congo caused tourism to shut down. During this time of instability for the DRC, the protection rangers offer the park’s animals is dire for their survival.
Virunga rangers put their lives on the line to help prevent the constant attempts of animal poaching, hunting and trafficking within the park. Without financial support for the rangers, these dangers pose a greater threat to unprotected animals.
For only $16, your donation will fund a day’s worth of rations, training, medical care and uniforms for a Virunga Ranger. Click here to donate and help prevent the exploitation of Virunga National Park animals.
