(TROPHY HUNTING/OP-ED) At the end of the last presidential debate, Hillary Clinton was asked if she could say something positive about her opponent Donald Trump. She said the following:

“Look, I respect his children. His children are incredibly able and devoted, and I think that says a lot about Donald….I don’t agree with nearly anything else he says or does. But I do respect that and I think that is something that as a mother and a grandmother is very important to me.”

On the surface, Hillary’s response seemed like an anodyne answer to a difficult question: What, at this point, is there positive to say about Donald Trump? But ever the politician, Hillary chose a seemingly safe response—nobody can argue with praising his kids right?

Except Eric and Donald Jr. are little creeps who use their vast and clueless privilege to kill endangered species. They could use their lucky lot in life to help stop the devastation of rhinos, elephants, leopards, and lions, or to promote eco-tourism which provides real help for both the animals and the villagers who live near them. Or they could even buy land to create nature reserves for the dwindling large mammals throughout Africa. This is what real men like David Beckham, Prince William, and Leonardo DiCaprio do for animals.

Instead, Eric and Donald Jr. use their money to destroy our endangered natural heritage.

As Nicole Dao, a spokeswoman for PETA, puts it:

“If the young Trumps are looking for a thrill, perhaps they should consider skydiving, bungee jumping, or even following in their anti-hunting father’s footsteps and taking down competing businesses – not wild animals.

Like all animals, elephants, buffalo, and crocodiles deserve better than to be killed and hacked apart for two young millionaires’ grisly photo opportunity. If the Trumps want to help villagers, they have plenty of resources at their disposal.”

So are these men worthy of any respect? We don’t think so.
