(CHIMPS/ANIMAL PICTURES) Former government-owned chimpanzees are enjoying their golden years at Chimp Haven, a national chimpanzee sanctuary. There were over 100 chimpanzees rescued from a laboratory and sent to this Louisiana Haven.

After a lifetime of cruelty these animals finally get to enjoy the rest of their years by socializing and living the life they’ve always deserved. Check out the chimpanzees enjoying their time at Chimp Haven in the heartwarming gallery below. — Global Animal
