Running on Thanksgiving morning will alleviate any guilt from feasting later at dinner and you’ll start the day off right by supporting plant-based diets.

The Tofurky Trot is a 5k run, walk, or trot and everyone is invited to join in the festivities. There will be prizes for the top male, female, and child runners, vegan snacks and drinks, random drawings, and a prize for the best costumes.

The trot will take place on Thanksgiving Day in Portland, Oregon, and Pasadena, California.

The run will support three non-profit organizations: The National Museum of Animals and Society in California and Northwest Veg and Out to Pasture in Oregon.
