Bo Obama is no stranger to Christmas! Not only was he featured in the White House holiday card this year as well as last year, but he also recently stole the show at Michelle Obama’s reading of the holiday classic ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas.
The First Lady’s visit to the young patients at the Children’s National Medical Center is a holiday tradition dating back to the 1950s when Bess Truman was First Lady.
Just as she was preparing to begin her reading, the four-year-old Portuguese Water Dog hopped onto her lap where he made himself comfortable.
“This is exactly what he does at home,” the First Lady said smiling. “He tries to beat Malia and Sasha to my lap.”
