(ANIMAL HEROES/POLICE DOGS) New York’s Sirius Dog Run is a tribute of remembrance and honor to the only police K-9, Sirius, killed in the terror attacks of September 11, 2001. Like many other heroic animals, Sirius performed his duties flawlessly until his final day, and was rightfully honored along with all the other fallen heroes.
