Disney Extends ‘Chimpanzee’ Donations

The heartwarming movie Chimpanzee made a sizable $10.6 million in its opening weekend. The documentary, which follows the story of a young chimp named Oscar, proved to be so popular that Disneynature decided to extend the “See ‘Chimpanzee,’ Save Chimpanzees” conservation plan for a second week. Disneynature will make a donation for every person who sees Chimpanzee through May 3, 2012 to the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) to protect chimpanzees and their habitat. So if you’re looking for a flick to see this weekend, have some fun and make a difference by choosing Chimpanzee

Chimpanzee, narrated by Tim Allen, is in theaters now.
