(ANIMAL RESCUE/PIGS/CUTE ANIMAL VIDEO) When PETA first found Koa the pig, he was in pretty rough shape. He had been suffering for almost a week with gashes all over his body as well as a deep wound covered in maggots. He was rushed into emergency surgery, with injuries so severe the surgeons had no choice but to remove one of his ears. Fortunately, Koa pulled through and after spending a few weeks in intensive care at the hospital and then resting at a nearby animal sanctuary, he was ready to move into his forever home. He now leads a happy life with his newfound family in Medina, Ohio, where he gets to snuggle, run, and play with his family’s two children, Sophie and Miles. A happy ending for all! — Global Animal
