(ANIMAL RESCUE/WILDLIFE/CUTE ANIMAL VIDEO) Sixteen orphaned bear cubs are in the early stages of rehabilitation at IFAW’s Orphan Bear Rescue Center in Bubonitsy, Russia. The bears are bottle-fed, given plenty of time to play, and are kept in temperature-controlled environments that mimic a mother bear’s den. Cubs need care and protection just like any other baby. If left in the wild without a mother to protect them, their chances of survival would be very slim. Luckily now, they are getting all the care they need and can learn how to become wild again. To follow the cub’s progress, check out IFAW’s website and Facebook page. — Global Animal
