Australia Tells Johnny Depp: Take Your Dogs, Or Else

(CELEBRITY PETS) AUSTRALIA -- Actor Johnny Depp and his wife Amber Heard's pet dogs have reportedly been flown back to the U.S. just hours before their deadline to be euthanized. In what was dubbed the "war on terriers," Depp's dogs were given a Saturday deadline to return to their country of origin when news surfaced that they were brought into Australia illegally. The actor violated Australia's strict biosecurity laws after bringing his Yorkshire terriers named Pistol and Boo to the country on a private jet, without proper documentation, while filming the fifth and final installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean film series, Dead Men Tell No Tales. Depp and Heard are expected to be fined for breach of customs and quarantine regulations. Read on to learn more about the incident below. -- Global Animal
