Rehabbed Brown Booby’s First Flight

(ANIMAL RESCUE/BIRDS/WILDLIFE VIDEO) This Brown Booby was rescued by the South Florida Wildlife Center after an embedded fishing hook injured his foot. After nearly a month of treatment and careful monitoring in the hospital, he spent another month living in an outdoor rehabilitation habitat built specifically for seabirds. Once he was fully recovered, staff found a perfect release site off the coast of Key West where he was returned to the wild. Watch the bird take his first flight after being rehabbed in the video above. — Global Animal
