(HYBRID SPECIES/ANIMAL PICTURES) Hybrid animals are unusual combinations of breeds not typically found in nature. The grolar bear, wholphin, and a liger are just a few of these rare creatures.

Even though these breeds are so popular due to their unique blend, crossbreeds can be somewhat problematic due to the fact that most are artificially bred. Some of these species would never cross paths in the wild and as a result of their manufactured births, they can encounter many health problems. For example, ligers exist only in captivity and have a short life span along with many other physical issues.
