(VEGAN/VEGETARIAN) Cinnaholic, a vegan bakery with its home in Berkeley, California, is expanding and offering franchise opportunities throughout the United States.

Cinnaholic opened its doors in 2010 and has since become a popular spot for cruelty-free eating. The bakery takes a spin on traditional cinnamon rolls by adding creative toppings and frosting flavors like chocolate raspberry and butterscotch bananas foster.

Cinnaholic has won many local awards for their decadent cinnamon rolls and is also popular among non-vegans.

“We believe that every one of us has the power to make a positive change in this world for the animals, the planet, and the people. We start by serving delicious vegan cinnamon rolls,” say owners Shannon and Florian Radke.

Cruelty-free restaurants that offer vegan and vegetarian options are increasingly popular and Cinnaholic’s expansion into franchises proves that they can be successful.

Even larger restaurant chains like Chipotle and McDonald’s have adopted some vegetarian and vegan options in certain locations.
