(ANIMAL LOVERS/CELEBRITIES) CALIFORNIA — Actor Paul Walker, best known for his role in The Fast and The Furious, died in a tragic car accident on Saturday at the age of 40.
An animal lover, well-known for his charity work, Walker was a passenger in a friend’s car after attending a charity event in Southern California. Hosted by Walker’s non-profit organization Reach Out Worldwide—”a quick-response, mobile first aid organization aiding in rescue and recovery after major natural disasters around the globe”—this weekend’s charity event was to benefit those affected by Typhoon Yolanda.
Walker is survived by his 15-year-old daughter, Meadow, and two pet dogs. He leaves behind a legacy of helping others in need around the world, and he will be greatly missed. Our condolences go out to his family and friends. — Global Animal
