Fashion Police star Kelly Osbourne, who recently announced her engagement to vegan chef Matthew Mosshart, credits her fiance’s influence in the kitchen for her remarkable slim down and for keeping the weight off in a delicious and creative way.
Osbourne trimmed off those extra pounds the healthy way, losing an impressive 70 pounds since 2009. Rather than attempting the newest trending diet, she has progressively changed her habits over the last few years to include more natural ingredients and physical activity.
Her more recent introduction to vegan alternatives, with the handy tips and continuous support of her fiancé, has allowed her to shed the last few stubborn pounds.
“We’re very big on substitutes and making our own condiments,” Osbourne said after showing off her engagement ring on The Talk. “He made me realize how many calories and how much bad stuff is in it. He has showed me a whole new sector of food I thought I’d never eat… and it’s yummy!”
She credits vegan lifestyle for giving her the toned and powerful body she wanted, pointing out that she loves the results of her hard work and doesn’t want to get any thinner.
“My [planking] record is 7 1/2 minutes, and I beat a bloody Olympic silver medalist!” she brags in an interview with SELF.
