Tia Mowry, made famous by the series Sister, Sister, recently teamed up with PETA to share her experience of going vegan and the advantages of a vegan lifestyle.
It seems veganism is gaining popularity among celebrities and non-celebrities alike for two main reasons—happiness and healthiness.
Mowry says her motivation for advertising her vegan lifestyle is to “educate [her] culture about the benefits of becoming vegan.”
She dishes about the disapproval she faced from people when she decided to go vegan as well as some of the misconceptions a lot of people have about veganism.
Mowry joins other celebrity vegans like James Cameron, Natalie Portman, Peter Dinklage, Ellen DeGeneres and veteran vegan Emily Deschanel who has embraced a vegan diet for the last twenty years.
