Facebook Users Save ‘Gay’ Dog

(DOG RESCUE) Just a few day days ago, a 'gay' American bulldog-mix was dropped off at a Jackson, Tennessee high-kill rabies control shelter after his ignorant guardian found the pooch mounting another male dog. On Wednesday, a plea for help was posted on a Facebook page dedicated to saving pets facing euthanasia, sparking a viral Facebook rescue campaign. After hearing about his story, veterinary technician Stephanie Fryns, who already has four dogs and is affiliated with the animal rescue group, Woof Connections, intervened and saved the dog now named Elton from euthanasia.
