(DOG PICTURES) Residents across the Northeastern U.S. are pulling out their shovels as they prepare to plow through the heaps of snow left behind by Winter Storm “Nemo” this past weekend. With snowfall reaching as high as three feet in some states, the violent blizzard has caused multiple deaths and left over 300,000 homes without power. Thousands of flights were cancelled, kids stayed home from school, and of course, the cameras came out. Take a look at these great photos of dogs reacting to the snow provided by the Huffington Post, and to learn how to protect your pets from harsh winter weather, check out our pet emergency plan. — Global Animal
