Animal Planet’s annual battle of cuteness features a bunch of rescue pups parading around a mini-field, kicking footballs, and playing with other dogs—all while looking mighty snuggly and cute!

Not to mention, the cutefest features a kitten half-time show, a group of tiny hedgehog cheerleaders scurrying along the sidelines, and much more.

While all of the dogs are rescued and adoptable, the program also includes important information about rescue animals and shelters to raise awareness about homeless pet adoption.

This year’s Puppy Bowl lineup features 27 dogs including a Puerto Rican Sato named Butterscotch and a wild-haired Yorkshire Terrier named Daisy.

Last year, about 8.7 million viewers were said to have tuned in to the show, with an even higher 9.2 million viewers in 2011.

Catch the Puppy Bowl IX “kickoff” on Feb. 3 at 3 p.m. on Animal Planet to see these pups in action. Will you be watching? Take our poll below.
