CHILDREN swapped their school shoes for their wellies in support of Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust.
Pupils at Churcham Primary School joined in the fun for Wear Your Wellies for Wildlife Week.
Youngsters paid £1 to keep their boots on in lessons and raised vital funds for the county’s charitable Wildlife Trust.
Events have been taking place all over the county this month, but there is still time to hold an event.
A trust spokeswoman said: “You could organise a special event to add an element of fun or silliness. Hold a welly Olympics or a welly throwing competition.”
The money raised will help build otter holts, stag beetle hotels and nesting boxes for dormice, bats and birds in Gloucestershire.
