Abandoned Blind Dog Given New Life (VIDEO)

(TOUCHING TALE) CALIFORNIA — Los Angeles has over 30,000 stray dogs at any given moment, and last year, Fiona was one of them. When Hope for Paws founders Eldad and Audrey Hagar found her, she was abandoned and blind in both eyes. Thanks to the generous donations of people who watched her Youtube video, Fiona now enjoys sight in one eye and a loving family. Trashed Puppy Swims To Survival

(TOUCHING TALE) Harper the pit bull puppy was rescued from a garbage bag more than six months ago. She suffered from swimming puppy syndrome, a disorder that most puppies do not survive. Harper’s rescuer, Erica Daniels, took the puppy home, planning to humanely euthanize her in the morning. However, when Erica began massaging Harper’s little muscles, the puppy started to move and thus began her recovery! With a special thanks to Hip Dog Hydrotherapy, Harper is now 9-months old, 35 lbs., and described as a “goofball.” Together Erica and Harper are giving back to people and animals alike. Grieving Widow Reunited With Lost Dog

(TOUCHING TALE) NEVADA — A car crash that Barbara Bagley, her husband, and their two Shetland sheepdogs Dooley and Delaney suffered through nearly tore the family apart. Bagley’s husband, Brad Vom Baur, unfortunately died in the crash along with one of the sheepdogs, Delaney. After Bagley recovered from her near-critical injuries, her thoughts were only of her other beloved sheepdog, Dooley. Dooley, who survived the crash as well, bolted from the scene and escaped into the wild. After 53 days of patience, searching, and praying, Bagley’s dream came true when two people found Dooley and brought him back to his tearful guardian. Rescue Cat Rescues Guardian
