Ted Nugent Pays For Illegal Bear Hunt

(CELEBRITY NEWS) Ted Nugent joined GoDaddy CEO Bob Parsons and the Trump sons in the category of dimwit animal hunters. The rocker pled guilty last week to transporting an illegally killed black bear in Alaska. The gun rights advocate agreed to pay a fine and serve two years of probation, and is not allowed to hunt on U.S. Forest Service lands for one year. This new development comes after the Secret Service questioned Nugent about comments made at a NRA convention, saying he would either be “dead or in jail” if Barack Obama were reelected in November. Director Kills Deer In Tribeca Film

(ILLEGAL HUNTING) NEW YORK — Director Ben Dickson is in legal trouble for actually hunting and killing two deer during the filming of his new movie, First Winter. New York State requires every hunter to have a permit and to attend an extensive hunting class, or pay fines up to $2,000 and face possible imprisonment. The actor who shot the deer did not have a hunting license and ended up fatally wounding another deer in the process. The film also shows one deer being skinned and cooked. South Africa’s New Rules To Combat Poaching

(RHINOS) SOUTH AFRICA — South Africa is finally making hunting rules more strict in an effort to fight illegal rhino horn trading. 448 rhinos were poached last year, and this year 171 have already been killed. (ANIMAL NEWS) MADRID— King Juan Carlos of Spain has issued an apology following his elephant hunting trip in Botswana. The King’s expensive hunting expedition was exposed after the monarch broke his hip and had to be transported back to Spain for an emergency surgery. It’s not unusual for royals to be involved in cruel hunting “sports,” but Juan Carlos is also the president of the Spanish branch of the World Wildlife Fund.
