(SEAL HUNTING) CANADA — The Television Bureau of Canada declared PETA new anti-seal hunt commercial too graphic for television. They are demanding two scenes be deleted from the commercial, one of a sealer clubbing a seal, and another of a seal coughing up blood after being hit. While the images are graphic, it’s nothing viewers haven’t seen on a TV show before. The unsightly process of a “fish pedicure” involves Garra Ruffa fish, also nicknamed “doctor fish,” who are starved in order for them to gnaw away at the dead skin on your feet. But now the monkey population is soaring and becoming more aggressive toward their feeders and the city’s wildlife agency is refusing to help.
