Man Rescues 80-Year-Old Lobster From Plate

(OCEAN NEWS) CONNECTICUT — When Don MacKenzie saw a 17-pound lobster in a local Connecticut restaurant, he knew he had to have it. The lobster nicknamed Lucky Larry was estimated to be between 80 and 100 years old. Rather than eat Lucky Larry, MacKenzie thought that a lobster who has seen “World War I, World War II, the landing on the moon, and the Red Sox win a World Series,” deserves to live.
