The heroic canine detected more than 3,329 kgs of explosive RDX, 600 detonators, 249 hand grenades, and 6,406 rounds of live ammunition. Zanjeer, a treasured member of the Mumbai Police Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad, also helped avert other potential explosions by detecting three more bombs in the days following the initial blasts. (WILDLIFE) Earlier this week, a leaky Chevron pipeline emitted 8,000 gallons of diesel fuel destined for a nearby reservoir in Utah’s Willard Bay State Park. The fuel spill could have possibly contaminated Salt Lake City’s water supply, but a dam built by two amiable beavers stopped the destruction. During the disaster, the innocent beavers were soaked by the toxic diesel fuel and are now recovering at a nearby wildlife rehabilitation center.
