(CELEBRITY) Academy Award nominee James Cromwell was arrested on Thursday at the University of Wisconsin for protesting the school’s experimentation on cats. The Boardwalk Empire star entered a UW System Board of Regents board meeting along with PETA spokesman Jeremy Beckham and cried out, ”This is not science! This is torture! Shame on you!” Cromwell and Beckham were holding signs displaying a tabby named Double Trouble, one of the 30 cats the university experiments on each year, who endured grueling experiments and was killed after the experiment on her was proclaimed a failure.
