Sonia attends California State University of Los Angeles, where she is currently pursuing a degree in English. From a young age Sonia has realized that animals are not our property, but living beings whom we share this Earth with. Her life dream would be to open an animal sanctuary or a doggie day care with a large outdoor play area, which many of the L.A. daycares are desperately lacking.

Extinct Toad Back From The Dead

(ANIMAL DISCOVERY) SRI LANKA — A toad that was thought to be extinct is making a sudden comeback. The Kandyan Dwarf toad has not been spotted since 1872 and was listed as extinct by the IUCN. Recently scientists rediscovered the toad at the Peak Wilderness Sanctuary in Sri Lanka. Unfortunately it appears to still be close to extinction. Brave Firefighter Resuscitates Dog (VIDEO)
