DONATE: Help Animals Affected By Oklahoma Tornado

(ANIMAL RESCUE) In the wake of one of the deadliest tornadoes in U.S. history, Oklahoma residents are desperately trying to reach loved ones and find missing pets, livestock, and other animals. Although the storm missed areas with larger ranches, several smaller ranches were devastated. And while one woman’s happy reunion with her dog has touched hearts nationwide, many animals remain stranded. Many agencies are lending their services and stepping up to help out however they can—whether by bringing in search dogs, collecting food for animals, or reuniting families with their four-legged loved ones. Global Animal is collecting donations for vetted animal rescue organizations working on the ground to help with medical costs for injured animals, boarding and food, as well as helping reunite pets with their families. — Global Animal

(LIFE WITH PETS) Easter is here and pet stores are filled with rabbits just waiting to hop into your Easter basket. So you and your children – especially your children –may be hoping for a bunny. Donate, Help Hurricane Sandy Pets (PHOTOS)

(ANIMAL RESCUE) While the onslaught of Hurricane Sandy continues to impact the lives of millions across the U.S. and Canada, first responders are working around the clock to help citizens and their pets. Though the storm is being described as “one of the most exceptional—and potentially destructive—storms to strike the Northeast in modern history,” animal rescuers remain hopeful that pets will stand a better chance than they did in 2005 during Hurricane Katrina, which left an estimated 250,000 animals stranded and struggling for survival. However, with hundreds of animals still stranded, disaster relief organizations like the Animal Care & Control of NYC, North Shore Animal League America, ASPCA, and the HSUS are doing their best to provide these frightened animals with food, water, and shelter. Global Animal Foundation is collecting donations for animal rescue organizations on the ground in New Jersey and New York that are aiding pets and other animals devastated by the superstorm. Keep reading to see how you can help these animals and see the miraculous photos of Hurricane Sandy animal rescues. — Global Animal

Jon Stewart Gets It All Wrong, Albeit Hilariously

The Daily Show With Jon Stewart is something I watch religiously.  I am a fan because they are usually dead right in their take on things. So, while still laughing, I cringed when they recently took on People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA) about their lawsuit protecting Orcas (killer whales) as slaves from SeaWorld.

Baby Attacks Pit Bull

(ANIMAL VIDEOS) – Watch these two pals and see why in England pit bulls are called nanny dogs. Parents would leave  their children alone with them for care and protection because their aggression towards humans has been bred out of them.
