Bittman is the author of How To Cook Everything Vegetarian, and working on a new cookbook Vegan Before Six. Giving up dairy might be just the answer to various health concerns.     i’ve been drinking milk alternatives for 15 yrs. rice milk sucked, then there was soy…and almond…and now with almond/coconut blend, there really is no reason to ever drink milk.
