Mother Parrot Abandons Ugly Baby

(ANIMAL NEWS) A face only a mother could love? Sadly, not this little guy. According to The Daily Mail, the baby parrot, Nelson, was abandoned by his mother at Bergzoo in Germany, where he is now being cared for. While some are calling him a contender for the the ugliest bird, we think he is quite handsome! Let us know what you think in our poll. — Global Animal

    Oh I agree all animals are cute in thier own way. I don’t think its cause she thinks its ugly animals aren’t as shallow as human beings.

    Hmmm…wonder if they are sure why he was rejected because if you have seen any baby bird, most of them are quite “ugly” when they are born. You would be too if you didn’t have all your feathers in yet and hadn’t grown into your head.More…
