Baby Monkey Loves His Banana

(ANIMAL VIDEO) What’s cuter than a big-eyed, near hairless, baby monkey gumming a delicious banana slice? Nothing. Little Loango, a white-collared Mangabey, was rejected by his mama a month ago. He is currently being hand reared by zookeepers of Paris’ Jardin des Plantes. It’s good news for Loango and the rest of his monkey species, as he’s one of only an estimated 1,000 Mangabeys left in the world. His birth was part of a European program to increase breeding among endangered species. Loango is fed fresh fruits, cooked veggies and bottled milk, and will rejoin his family in a few weeks! — Global Animal
