I’ve never had a long haired cat. But, my Tabby and Siamese love to be brushed. In fact, if I’m brushing my own hair, my Siamese comes running when he hears the sound.
Isn’t that interesting. My cats love being brushed and combed more than anything in the world. Even more than food. Just be careful on longhairs if there are matts. That’s painful. You are better cutting them out and that’s tricky.
I had my himmies lion cut for years. Took them a few days to not feel entirely naked. With 3 of them, it was too diff to keep them brushed. Besides, they hated the brush
Not a bad idea.
