(FUNNY ANIMAL PICTURES) If you have a long-haired cat, there may come a time when you consider giving them a shave—whether to help keep your kitty cool during warmer months or to make grooming easier when fur becomes matted. A lion cut is where every part of the cat is shaved down except for the head and mane, legs, and tip of the tail. Some perceive the style as cruel, but experts have attributed this assumption to how we interpret felines’ baleful expressions while rocking this unusual, yet adorable hairstyle. But please note: if you are going to give your cat a lion cut, it is best to take your furry feline to a professional groomer. Take a look at all of these lion-inspired dos! I’ve never had a long haired cat. But, my Tabby and Siamese love to be brushed. In fact, if I’m brushing my own hair, my Siamese comes running when he hears the sound.
Isn’t that interesting. My cats love being brushed and combed more than anything in the world. Even more than food. Just be careful on longhairs if there are matts. That’s painful. You are better cutting them out and that’s tricky.
I had my himmies lion cut for years. Took them a few days to not feel entirely naked. With 3 of them, it was too diff to keep them brushed. Besides, they hated the brush
Not a bad idea.
