    Well it is just by product. It's not like your harming the whales. Also ambergris also comes commonly from the whale's barf.

    Ok, I am kinda grossed out by this. However it isn’t ACTUAL poop. And it doesn’t harm, or even interact w/ the animal at all. If anything I think awareness of this by-product would help to save Sperm Whales! Buuuut it is kinda gross to think abt. LOL

    I would like to know how exactly a person came to figure out that whale poop could be used in perfume!

    When I found out 20 years ago that Este lauder used ambergris (barf and poop) in their perfume I stopped buying their products. It is used as a stabilizer in poor products to improve their quality. UGH!
