Meat-Free Monday Challenge: Muesli

(VEGAN/VEGETARIAN LIFESTYLE) Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It gets you started, moving, and thinking. For today’s Meat-Free Monday Challenge, we’ve chosen to share with you a unique twist on cereal: vegan muesli! As always, happy eating! — Global Animal

Ingredients: 
2-3 tablespoons rolled oats, uncooked (do NOT use instant oats, these are basically empty carbs with little nutritional value.)
½ apple, diced
½ banana, diced
4 strawberries, sliced (or even better, 1/2 of an orange, chopped)
1-2 fresh figs, sliced (optional)
2-3 tablespoons goji berries (or raisins)
3 tablespoons chopped nuts of your choice, I used walnuts, cashews and almonds
½ cup almond milk (or more if you like)
⅛ teaspoon cinnamon
