Vegan Natalie Portman Wins Oscar

HOLLYWOOD, CA – And the winner is…being veggie! The 83rd Academy Awards was a winning night for animal lovers. Vegan Natalie Portman won the Oscar for Best Actress. The evening’s co-host Anne Hathaway is also a vegetarian, as is presenter Russell Brand. In fact, it seems like being a vegetarian is also good karma for winning the famous gold statue. The long list of vegan and vegetarian Oscar winners include Kate Winslet, Joaquin Phoenix, Anna Paquin, Diane Keaton, Russell Crowe, Forest Whitaker, Dustin Hoffman, and many others.

Global Animal wants to give a shout out to Natalie Portman and Christian Bale who inspire us by demonstrating their love for animals by choosing a compassionate diet. Congratulations from all of your two-legged and four-legged fans here at Global Animal! – Global Animal
